We’re thrilled to announce an exhilarating event to kick off the new year: the Alpha Unit Minecraft Bedrock Survival Challenge. This unique competition is designed to test your survival skills, creativity, and speed in the expansive world of Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a newcomer eager for adventure, this challenge promises excitement and camaraderie.
Event Details:
• Date: Saturday, January 25, 2025
• Time: 3:00 PM GMT
• Platform: Minecraft Bedrock Edition
• Mode: Survival Multiplayer
Challenge Overview:
Participants will be dropped into a freshly generated survival world with the primary objective of establishing a functional and aesthetically pleasing home base. The twist? You’ll need to gather resources, fend off mobs, and construct your dwelling within a limited timeframe. Speed, efficiency, and creativity are key!
Rules and Guidelines:
1. Starting Point: All players will begin at the same spawn location.
2. Time Limit: You have 90 minutes to complete your home.
3. Home Requirements:
• Must include at least four walls, a roof, a door, and a bed.
• Interior decoration is encouraged for bonus points.
4. Resource Gathering: All materials must be gathered during the challenge; no pre-collected resources allowed.
5. PvP: Player vs. Player combat is disabled to ensure a focus on building and survival skills.
6. Judging Criteria:
• Speed: How quickly you complete your home.
• Creativity: Unique design elements and use of materials.
• Functionality: Practicality and survival utility of the home.
How to Participate:
• Sign Up: Register by sending an email to [email protected] with your Minecraft Bedrock username.
• Preparation: Ensure your game is updated to the latest version and test your connection prior to the event.
• Join the Discord: We’ll be coordinating through our Discord server. Join us for real-time updates, voice chat, and to meet fellow participants.
Prizes:
• 1st Place: Exclusive “Master Builder” role on Discord, a custom in-game item, and a feature in our monthly newsletter.
• 2nd Place: “Expert Architect” role on Discord and a custom in-game item.
