Speaking of time zones, we have members stateside, probably enjoying their morning coffee while we wind down for the evening. Meanwhile, our Australian friends are already living in the future (hello, Matrix vibes). Across all these time zones, we share one thing: a love of gaming and the joy of coming together as Alpha-Unit.

Remember, if you’re streaming, gaming solo, or diving into multiplayer mayhem, you’re not alone. You’re part of Alpha-Unit, where we look after each other both in and out of the gaming realm. Whether you’re blowing up maps with TNT (looking at you, MadmanOggie) or creating clock towers with TazMOMO, your journey matters, and we’re here for it.

Let us take a moment to honour the transformation of Bearded Hammer, who has now risen from the metaphorical ashes as BeardyJ, the new and improved, beer-juggling, sharp-shooting, drill-popping, hammer-wielding maestro of gaming mayhem. This man isn’t just a gamer; he’s a legend in the making.

With the precision of a clever slasher and the energy of someone who’s just downed his third pint, BeardyJ is back and better than ever. But beyond the sheer chaos he brings to the table, BeardyJ has been a true hero of mine. His ability to listen, tell stories, and keep the banter alive makes him more than just a teammate—he’s a brother.

And let’s not forget that Scottish accent. It’s not just a voice; it’s a soothing melody straight from the heavens, a tune so resonant it feels like Jesus himself is serenading me. My lifelong affinity for Scotland runs deep, even though I’ve never had haggis, never visited the Highlands, and have only a vague memory of Highlander (and, shockingly, no Braveheart). Despite this glaring lack of cultural exposure, I know one thing: the Scots are incredible, and BeardyJ embodies everything I adore about them.
